"Movements in still life"

Here is a little video I made from these sequence shots I took of beautiful things I saw this weekend. I took over 3,000 frames just to get 2min and 30 seconds of footage. I hope you enjoy! Movement in still life. from nicolas Dellar on Vimeo .

A life aquatic indeed

May 20th 2010 - The Life Aquatic.  Baby Dot in her masquerade debut, red beanies, mustaches, fish tacos, and Nick's short shorts made for quite an evening.  These pictures were taken with Nick's new toy - the FujiFilm Instax, which was another highlight of the evening. It is already fully customized :)

Long Time No Blog...

Image
Hello friends and family, sorry it has been so long since our last post. Here are some photos of what we have been up to the last few weeks. We went over to Kona for for Becky's birthday and had an awesome Time with the Murphy's. Here we are at Becky's Favorite beach (In the Entire World).   Becky and I decided to go for a little hike one afternoon, so we went to Kaienea Point. The view at the end is beautiful, you can see both the North Shore and the West Side from the point.

Christmas at the Dellars

Image
Just got done with some Christmas decoration, and we wanted to share. Last Christmas we didn't put up lights, so we had to this year. You would think that over a thousand lights would be enough, but really it takes allot more than that to even get around the entire house. We barely covered the front porch and our plumeria tree with a little under 900 lights! maybe next year we will get the entire house.

(To be read in a thick French Accent) The fearless ocean explorer Nick Cousteau navigating the newest aquatic edition to his patio. This seemingly tranquil body of water was donated by the neighboring Roy's clan. A s you can see it is teeming with life and color. The Crew: First Mate, Becky aka "B.A.D" And Cptn. Nicolas Isle. Thank you for joining us on this expedition. We hope to see you next week - quite literally.

Weekend in Kona

Image
This past weekend we took a trip to Kona to visit our friend Jenny K! What a fun-filled weekend it was - We had such a blast! Road to South Point - Hooray! Evening above Waimea Coffee Shop on our way to the Volcano (I had the best coffee ever! It was almost as good as Blue Bottle in SF!!) Jenny K tagging the coffee shop wall - they will remember us Forever. Had to stop and pet the horses... Volcano babes :) Here's Jenny rescuing Becky from the pit of doom. Believe it or not, Jenny was so excited she walked the whole trail on her hands. That's talent. Funny looking rock on the black sand beach. Nick received the gift of walking on water. So Awesome. Jenny tried too! Praise you Jesus for such cool adventures! On our trek to the sweet secret beach. This was definitely my favorite adventure of the weekend... and I am not going to tell you how to find it :) Sunday Sunset. What a way to end the weekend.
