Adventures in the Lord

the perfect afternoon girl date, just me and reagan.  Thank you Lord for her love! It is so pure and her joy so wonderful to receive!

Sometimes love hurts. But today is not a goodbye, it's a "see you later". Adventures in the Lord Always Ahead!   Can't wait to pray alongside you two through them!

The plane. Trusting He is saving one little seat for me from Honolulu to San Fransisco on a military plane! Pray along with me :) Time of departure: Pending Day of departure: Pending Type of Aircraft: Unknown Time of Arrival: Pending Transportation on the ground in SF: Confirmed, Ms. B Kasmar. Being strapped to the side of a military cargo plane for 6 hours? CONFIRMED. I can't wait! Life is never boring with the Lord!!!

Four years ago today my life changed in the most incredible way possible. Nick Dellar asked me to be his girlfriend... It was at Hammonds - He took me down that beautiful little walk way, down to the beach. We walked for a while, then when we got back onto the path and I noticed he had sat down at one of the benches looking over the surf there. I quickly realized I should go sit down next to him. Now let me make a note here: Up to this point we had never, not ever held hands. Not once. He grabbed my hand that day, interlocked his fingers into mine and said "The real reason I brought you out here..." and went on to ask me to be his girlfriend. I am getting giddy and smiley just typing this. I was overjoyed! It was so incredible to finally hold each others hand (do you know that feeling?!) and just hug and enjoy that moment! I had been holding in and hiding how much I LOVED him for quite some time and it was so relieving to know he felt the same way. It was a beautiful Mo...

  There is quite a bit of planning happening in my little head this week...Right now in this moment I am so grateful for the Lord's desire to be in the details of our lives. I am seeing Him do it! Cannot wait for next week!! More to come... becky

This is a picture of us in Kauai, right after he returned this last spring. We had such a great time there! We camped and got to hang with the Norris family - it was such a blast. Thinking of our time there was a nice pick me up today :)

You would think after four patrols at to sea this one would be a little easier to handle. Not so. I cannot even believe we have survived four of these! The Lord has been so gracious to us, giving us so many fun experiences and adventures together this last week even when feeling so bummed out!! This has been a really incredible in-port. We were able to do so many amazing things and spend it with such amazing people! We would not have traded any of it! After the first two years of our marriage, we have more stories than I ever would have imagined. And, just as before, I know the Lord will provide for both of us during this time as He always has. Thank you for your prayers, they have been felt this week. Our God is so faithful, even when we do not seem to see or hear Him moving on our behalf.
