Please Pray for Desirre

My sweet friend Desirre has been through a lot in the last month and yesterday was the breaker - Please pray!

Two weeks ago, she was flown to New Orleans to help with the oil spill (she is an MST in the Coast Guard). She left her husband and 4 year old girl Sage at home, planning on being gone for 60 days. That is the most difficult "deployment" I have ever seen since Nick joining the military.

I received a call from her this morning and she was in the ER because she was hit by a drunk driver last night. The driver was in an F150 and she is a Toyota Carolla, she was going 55-65 mph. Her airbags did not deploy.

A true miracle from God, she came out with some broken glass in her arm from her window, needed stitches to her ear, I would imagine her back really uncomfortable, but NOTHING broken. I could not believe that was all that happened. The Lord was in that car with her.
The Coast Guard is going to fly her back home here to HI in the next few days, but even that is going to be hard for her to do, as she cannot pick up or carry anything.

Lord! First, THANK YOU for being there with Desirre in that car last night!! Thank you for your protection. Please continue protect this family, be near to Todd and Sage as they wait and pray for their wife and mom. Speak your comfort to them right now! and that Your Strength and Power would be made known to them Jesus. Lord thank you for Saving Desirre's life!!!
