Our wonderful friend at Blessed Each Day tagged me and I must respond (even though a bit delayed).

 I hope to share a few pictures from Nick's last patrol with you soon!

I am realizing I have many favorite drinks...
Chai tea with almond milk and honey - I guess it's a tea latte, but I like mixing it myself :)
Any smoothie made by Nick (recently made a mango, banana, strawberry one...yes)
Coffee or hot chocolate with whip cream on top. Really, any hot beverage with whip cream on it...I believe this is why my wonderful mom-in-love had a special coffee bar at our rehearsal dinner!!

Three favorite TV shows:

Ah, yes we do not own a television. BUT I really like watching The Office (we own the dvds)
Also, love that Aubri put this - when I am house sitting, or flipping through channels at someone elses house I Always stop to watch that British Nanny lady! (Beautiful Treasure - totally watched it at your house while working!)

Three places I have visited:

South Korea
Switzerland
Shelbyville, Tennessee

Three places I would like to visit:

Australia
Africa
Anywhere Nick has been that I have not (which is a lot of places!)

Three fave retro TV shows :
hmmm, not really sure how to answer this. In high school/college I  totally loved watching Family Feud when I was sick at home and had to watch daytime TV.

Three foods that make me happy:
Pho Vietnamese beef soup (must have with bean sprouts, mint and lime juice)
Home-made dishes with yummy fresh produce and organic meat! (hey -you asked)
A table full of fun people catching up and telling stories (food of any kind)

Three things I am looking forward to:
Having a full 5 months with Nicolas
A vacation to the Big Island
And Family coming to visit us!

All of our belongings arrived this morning! We have it all! Big truck, three huge crates and a team of 5 showed up on the doorstep at 8:45 AM this morning. They must have thought I was weird - as each item came through the door I got the hugest smile! Like "oh, there is the table from the Hargroves...and there are the couches...boxes of wedding gifts I have not opened yet!..." you get the idea. Here is our bedroom before... and after! Living room before... And after! Kitchen before... And After!! The movers only took one hour to get it all into the house. The first thing I did when they left? Sat down on the couch in the living room. I just remember sitting on them at the parent-Dellar's house and all the fun times I have had at their house; the BBQs, the prayer nights and Bible studies, cuddling up on them when Nick was gone (in Kona, Cape May, Virginia, Honolulu). unpacked :)

So! This weekend was pretty full with unpacking all our fun things. It is so incredible how loved I have felt the last few days; having a couch to cuddle up on, real plates and real utensils to eat with, candles galore, a kitchen table and chairs!! (not to mention all the appliances that I got and am dying to use!) I just love being home now! Here is me with my new amazing tea pot standing in one of the first open boxes. Here are our cups, plates and mugs sitting on our kitchen table - they are just beautiful! Here was my first dinner on our real plates!   Sunday I went to church and sat by the other two Coastie wives whose husbands are on the Jarvis. I came home and unpacked a few more boxes, then decided to end the afternoon with a run by the beach + jump in the water and layout session :) As the empty boxes get pushed closer to the door, I will take some more shots of the house and how it is coming together!
