Little did I know that a trip 5 years ago would change my life forever. I met Julia for the first time in a Chevy Suburban on the few day drive to Houston Texas! These are a few pictures of my first memories of her...


(after looking through these pictures I am going to HAVE to do a post on Houston!)

How cool that our first meeting we were serving the Lord together...What a story the Lord has given us!

    Thank you for this very precious trip down memory lane... i will forever be grateful for that experience and all the fruit that came from that trip.
    How blessed was I to get the most beautiful daughter in law and adopted daughter!

    ...'little did you know'...and aren't we greatful for Gods perfect timing. HE knew what lie ahead, your trip to serve was an open door for your future, Mrs. Nicolas Dellar!! And the icing on the cake is, Dale and Julie!! Happy, Happy Birthday Julie you look gorgeous in the top photoo!

All of our belongings arrived this morning! We have it all! Big truck, three huge crates and a team of 5 showed up on the doorstep at 8:45 AM this morning. They must have thought I was weird - as each item came through the door I got the hugest smile! Like "oh, there is the table from the Hargroves...and there are the couches...boxes of wedding gifts I have not opened yet!..." you get the idea. Here is our bedroom before... and after! The Best Things In Life Are For Free

Well not completely free, actually this chair was $2.00 at a garage sale down the street, and the paint was $10.00 at the Home Depot. the cool life ring we found in the dumpster, and its from a Panamanian Ship, so really it is the only thing that was for free. so all together I guess $12.00 is not so bad for a little beach flare around the house. The drift wood and coral were free! Here you go Mom just like I promised, my newly reorganized closet.
