the last couple of weeks

So here are a few things we did the past two weeks.  Yes we know what your all thinking "Great more pictures of the beach", well we promise you we are going to change it up, although keep in mind we do live on an island no bigger than Santa Barbara County.

Hanauma Bay- This place was place was classic, Becky and I thought we were just going to be able to walk down to the beach and relax...Wrong ! Turns out this bay is a protected marine sanctuary,and after two toll booths ,one mandatory educational film screening, and a five minute wait in line just for them to stamp "SUCKER"on our forehead, we finally made it to the beach.

My Beautiful wife after her "Victory at Sea".We really had an awesome time sailing that day.We love the Ocean, and are so blessed that the Lord has given us lives in, on, and around it.

Lord, thank you That life with you is exciting, even though it is not always comfortable.We pray that we would experience your open waters, and not sail too close to shore .

    Lovin it! It is so sweet to see the Lord blessing you guys by shaping and granting the desires of your heart.

    What an awesome way to kick off a life together... trapped on the tiniest, most beautiful Island in the absolute most middle of nowhere. You guys are doing things right! Be blessed, walking in His love and grace.

    And Becky, I will be sure to remember your miserable working conditions the next time I'm sitting in my 90 degree office, with tie choking my neck, and a back ache.

All of our belongings arrived this morning! We have it all! Big truck, three huge crates and a team of 5 showed up on the doorstep at 8:45 AM this morning. They must have thought I was weird - as each item came through the door I got the hugest smile! Like "oh, there is the table from the Hargroves...and there are the couches...boxes of wedding gifts I have not opened yet!..." you get the idea. Here is our bedroom before... and after! The Best Things In Life Are For Free

Well not completely free, actually this chair was $2.00 at a garage sale down the street, and the paint was $10.00 at the Home Depot. the cool life ring we found in the dumpster, and its from a Panamanian Ship, so really it is the only thing that was for free. so all together I guess $12.00 is not so bad for a little beach flare around the house. The drift wood and coral were free! Here you go Mom just like I promised, my newly reorganized closet.
