Doesn't get any easier

You would think after four patrols at to sea this one would be a little easier to handle. Not so. I cannot even believe we have survived four of these!
The Lord has been so gracious to us, giving us so many fun experiences and adventures together this last week even when feeling so bummed out!! This has been a really incredible in-port. We were able to do so many amazing things and spend it with such amazing people! We would not have traded any of it!
After the first two years of our marriage, we have more stories than I ever would have imagined. And, just as before, I know the Lord will provide for both of us during this time as He always has.

Thank you for your prayers, they have been felt this week.
Our God is so faithful, even when we do not seem to see or hear Him moving on our behalf.

    May the Lord watch over the two of you while you are separated by the seas. May He keep Nicolas safe and protected. Becky may He keep your days and nights filled with new projects and activities and may you lean stronger on Him as He guides you.
    LOVED Nics videos....I realized that after watching the 'surfing' video about 5 more times Nic was skim boarding with his long board...he is always able to find and make fun time!!!

    i know it's a difficult day today but I also know that with each departure God begins to do a new and wonderful thing in each of you. HE uses both of you for HIS glory and it's a joy to watch and share.

All of our belongings arrived this morning! We have it all! Big truck, three huge crates and a team of 5 showed up on the doorstep at 8:45 AM this morning. They must have thought I was weird - as each item came through the door I got the hugest smile! Like "oh, there is the table from the Hargroves...and there are the couches...boxes of wedding gifts I have not opened yet!..." you get the idea. Here is our bedroom before... and after! The Best Things In Life Are For Free

Well not completely free, actually this chair was $2.00 at a garage sale down the street, and the paint was $10.00 at the Home Depot. the cool life ring we found in the dumpster, and its from a Panamanian Ship, so really it is the only thing that was for free. so all together I guess $12.00 is not so bad for a little beach flare around the house. The drift wood and coral were free! Here you go Mom just like I promised, my newly reorganized closet.
